Types of LOVE

Being in an IIT exposes you to a whole bunch of people. And with the right socializing skills, one can have plenty of experiences!

I have many friends. And when i say many, I am talking about tons of them.. :P Naturally, everyone is an average teenager with almost the same kind of problems. But one thing that is strikingly different in between each of them is the type of love they have for their girl/boy. 

Let me start by elaborating my own personal type. AN IDEA! One dark and starry night, when i was just strolling in my wing, i realized that rather than being in love with the girl, i am in love with the idea of having her. The possibility that she might one day be mine feels so delighting. One might say that, "Hey bro, that's not real love is it?" Why not? People do a whole bunch of crazy stuff. Whats so different about this? 

The next type is of our very own FILMY STYLE. Boy and girl are friends since childhood and even though they didnt have feelings before but gradually they started surfacing as they aged. Truly saying, respect hai boss jo itne saal jhel liye ek doosre ko. :P 

One very common one, not so different from mine is the FOREVER ALONE kind. The first thing they do that they find out a very good or sometimes not so good picture of their crush and make it their wallpaper or screensaver, whatever. They hardly can muster any guts to get up and speak to them. Well, their love story ends on their laptop itself. The difference between my kind and theirs is that i at least have the ability to converse with her, to share with her and find out about her.

THE REBOUND LOVE. Oh boy. So very dangerous. One fair day, your louvvvv  dumps you. Fatefully, you find a shoulder to cry on. And even more luckily that person is a girl. Do i need to tell u the rest? While the other person is trying to comfort you, you start thinking that he/she is such a wonderful person and will it be not wonderful if u were rather with her/him?? INSTANTANEOUS love. :D Be careful of it my friends. This kind of love rarely lasts and is even more dangerous for your friendship.

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. Its never gonna work no matter how many times you lie to yourself. You might have a wonderful chemistry, but at the end of the day, you both are in a completely different environment! Most of the people i knew to be in an LDR are now either single or with someone else. So, good luck with it if you are in one!

PHYSICAL KIND. Yeah. IITians may be known as nerds or geeks, but we are also human beings. Sometimes we too do things just for sheer fun. I dont think this particular kind should be a social taboo in our society any more, because hey, you yourself want to be modern(a.k.a western), so deal with it. 

Lastly, the REGULAR kind. People meet, fall in love, fall apart, or worse.. get married.. :D
